That kind of day...

"druid!"

I looked at the orc standing before me, then around the inside of the inn. The orc, a shaman named Staples (with a stupid little squiggle over the 'e', don't ask how I know that...), the innkeeper, and myself were the only three inside Sun Rock Retreat's small inn. He was definitely talking to me. I blinked the sleep out of my eyes and looked grumpily up at him.

"thats a crappy staff."

I felt my claws involuntarily begin to dig into the floor. I bared my teeth to growl at him, but ... he disappeared before I could make so much as a sound. Instead, I settled for grumbling to myself as I inspected my equipment. Living Root ... an old staff to be sure...

The next time I see that stupid orc, I might just give HIM a rude and sudden awakening. Hopefully by then, I'll have traded in my "crappy staff" for a nice, big mace. Hmph.

Fuck yeah! I mean, it's a level 18 staff and I'm level 26 ... but at least it's blue! XD

It's better than my brother's case of the crappy staff. He had his Illusionary Rod until he was lvl 60, lol.

I think we should go a-hunting for orc once we gain a few levels and show him exactly how *painful* a living root can be.
